More LCs

Over the winter we obtained two more DPCA Longevity Certificates on Windsong dogs. The first was for a much loved dog from our past, "Blues" Wynterwynd's Hill Street Blues, who lived to be 10 and a half.  [pictured below]

The second was for Blues' great-grandaughter, our own "Babbs". She turned 10 in March but manages to look and act like a much younger dog.

Documenting longevity

With the sad loss of Paradigm Fiona of Windsong  in October, we were moved to apply for her DPCA longevity certification. Fiona lived to be 10 1/2, and was assigned the longevity certification LC-1768F98-10D by the Longevity Program.

We then realized that  "Betty" Paradigm Betty Boop Windsong, her daughter, qualified for Bred For Longevity status, as both Betty's parents lived in excess of 10 years. Betty was awarded BFL certificate number BFL193-1F203 by the Longevity Program.

Another win for Kate!

Windsong's Take it to the Limit, "Kate" had a great weekend out Nov. 8 and 9 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Saturday she went reserve to the major, and Sunday she took Winner's Bitch. Way to go, Kate! And many thanks to Carolyn Edwards for a handling job well done.
